Bethany Baptist Church
Rosemount, MN
Lobby Remodel / Interior Refresh
Size: 2,000 square feet
Completed: March 2019
More than 50 years without updates brought Bethany Baptist Church to Station 19 for a fresh look, better wayfinding for newcomers, and a better space for gathering and overflow from their Worship Center.
The walls from three separate rooms/storage areas were opened up to create a central gathering space for the congregation. Improved visual flow between the two primary entrances now welcomes anyone stepping through the doors to connect with members of the church community around the Worship Center. New flooring, wall finishing, and furniture were added to reflect Bethany Baptist’s branding and old fluorescent lighting was replaced with new LED fixtures. Accessibility was enhanced with improved entry clearances, a new handicap accessible family restroom, and new drinking fountains.
By partnering with Station 19, Bethany Baptist gained a fresh look and new ideas on how to visually appeal to their community. They will continue to use Station 19’s Master Plan for improving exterior access to their building as well as improving their welcome experience.
