Vision Crafting: Bringing a Vision to Life

Vision Crafting: Bringing a Vision to Life

How S19 helped take Faith Covenant’s vision and reflect it in their space.

It takes time, effort, and motivation to build a dream...to cultivate a vision. It doesn’t become a reality overnight.

Before designing any sketches or concepts, Station 19 always takes time to listen first to the client’s dream. That principle, “Listen First.” has always been at the center of our process. It gives us the clarity we need to create spaces that will communicate and reflect a ministry’s vision.

The story of Faith Covenant was exactly that.

When Faith Covenant came to Station 19, they had a dream of their own. They knew where they had been, who they were, and where they wanted to go. They knew that their existing facility did not reflect their motto of “Gather. Grow. Go.” With cramped hallways, scattered classrooms, and a dark, outdated worship area, Faith Covenant needed help creating a space that effectively and creatively communicated their vision for the future.

A remodel and construction project that would focus on hospitality, wayfinding, and classroom security ultimately created a space that completely redefines how Faith Covenant does ministry.

New windows brighten the gathering area, connecting those inside the walls of the church to the outdoors and greater community while a welcoming café and seating area serve as the perfect space for people to “Gather” together and connect.

The centralized children’s education is now defined by a secure check-in area that creates a safe learning environment for kids and peace of mind for parents, so that everyone can “Grow” deeper in faith.

Inspiring scripture and branded graphics incorporated throughout the welcome areas and refreshed, distraction-free worship space allows people to engage with worship and teaching, as they’re prepared to “Go” serve their neighbors and surrounding community.

Beginning with what Faith Covenant knew was their unique DNA, Station 19 was able to design and implement a church building that tells the story of who they are and what they are all about – a community that desires to create environments and opportunities that move people to follow Jesus. This great partnership is helping Faith Covenant “Gather, Grow, and Go” as a community.
